Lately

I live in Greensboro, North Carolina, where I work as a palliative nurse. “Palliative” is the medical word for comfort, supporting patients getting comfortable within their situation. I visit patients in their homes, and I follow up with them over the phone.

My patients are often dealing with big heaviness, and I’m grateful for a three-day weekend to recharge. When I’m not a vegetable, I write, design, and make digital audio, some of it at oreganoshirt.com.

I love keeping track of the moon, with new moon emails at bit.ly/Poemails.

As a Quaker, I advocate for the abolition of war and prison through evidence-based prevention, de-escalation, and transformative justice practices.

The house has a second bedroom that I sometimes rent out. It’s a nice life here, with Sweetie Boy the cat, and there’s probably space if you’d like to visit. Reach out 🌚
